01. A note from our founder
There is something that has stayed with me for years.
For generations, saffron has been known as one of the world's most precious ingredients. But for many people, it has also felt distant: too expensive, too delicate, too complicated, and too ceremonial for daily life.
I grew up with saffron not as a luxury, but as part of life, culture, wellness, and hospitality. My family has spent more than 23 years helping revive Afghanistan's 3,000-year saffron heritage and bringing this extraordinary flower from the fields of Herat to customers around the world.
But one question kept returning to me:
How could something so extraordinary, so beautiful, and so deeply connected to calm, clarity, and balance remain so distant from everyday life? Why is it still so hard to experience saffron in everyday products?
For many people, saffron was still something reserved for special meals and special occasions. I believed it deserved a place in ordinary moments, too.
